This is the gorgeous dachshund Sally, loving life after spinal surgery last year. Sally presented with acute paraplegia and was found to have a L1-2 intervertebral disc extrusion with marked spinal cord compression.
She underwent decompressive spinal surgery and had the adjoining discs fenestrated to limit the chances of future recurrence.
Sally made an amazing recovery and is enjoying summer with her friends.
